Ears Have Ears, FBi Radio’s weekly experimental music program announces the next event in it’s live music series which invites Australia’s most exciting musicians to perform in a range of unique local venues.

In edition #4, Ears Have Ears presents the launch of Brisbane fractured noise misfits Cured Pink’s 7” BODY BODY BODY (Black Petal). Cured Pink will play alongside three hand-picked acts spanning various corners of the experimental and contemporary music spectrum, with visual accompaniment by projectionist Jadis Mischka and Ears Have Ears Djs.

Ears Have Ears Presents #4 takes place at Redfern’s 107 Projects, a council and collective run artist space, venue and gallery located at 107 Redfern Street, close to Redfern station.

Jay Katz selects and compiles as series of Music clips that embrace the late 70’s to mid 80’s post punk industrial sound. This was the last musical revolution, in which pop was completely deconstructed and the birth of sampling began. Imagine Rage with Miss Death and Jay Katz as guest programmers. Our friend Nicko is cycling over 1000 kilometres participating in six different rides covering Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Adelaide in an effort to fundraise for Cancer research.
This is one of many shows in benefit for the cause.

Established in 2011, TSH is one of its kind and has presented Internationally acclaimed artists in the field of electroacoustic and audiovisual explorations such as Daniel Blinkhorn, Axel Singer, Chihei Hatakeyama, minamo, Greg Haines, Spartak, Pollen Trio, Ollie Bown, Seaworthy, Fourcolor, Pimmon and Moskitoo in the heart of William Street East Sydney.

Featuring Wednesday the 14th of August are local sensations Ion Pearce and Julian Day along with Brisbane artist touring his new release 4064, Andrew Tuttle.
