Take me for a ride
Then run off and hide
Proving that you’re blind
Suffering from no mind
You can’t see any further than your nose

How Many People Are Like Murray? – 22nd June 1984
What will happen to you
In the outside world of ours?
Will you find a girl?
Live your darkest hours?
Settle down, settle down, settle down
What will Murray do?
How many people are like Murray?
Take a look at yourself
What will you do?
12th June 2023 – Already writing to myself in disguise.
Playground – 21st June 1984
Kids out in the yard are having the time of their life
Kids out in the yard are having the time of their life
Don’t tell them of the things to come
Enjoy yourself while you’re young
Die before you’re old
If you don’t wanna be told
Kids out in the yard are having the time of their life
Kids out in the yard are having the time of their life
I Wake Up Every Morning – 18th June 1984
I woke up to find no one there
And looked around in despair
There was no one to see anywhere
I lost my head and did not care
I touched my head and found it dead
Picked my brain which was insane
Touched my face which was out of place
Touched my and to my alarm
I woke up
I wake up every morning to the same boring day
This Way Up – 16th June 1984
This way upside down
This way turn around
This way around about
This way inside out
This way up, this way down
This way – go away
Interrogate – 15th June 1984
Interrogate, exterminate
Interrogate, interrogate
Interrogate, elucidate
Interrogate, interrogate
Interrogate, depreciate
Interrogate, interrogate
Interrogate
Too much hate
Leave too late
Exterminate
Elucidate
Depreciate
Interrogate
In Two Minds – 13th June 1984
He’s the king of his problems
He’s on top of it all
But for a man so high
The chances are he’ll fall
Coming home from his work
To a refreshing cup of tea
He’s drifting into deep sleep
From which he’ll wake to a new reality
In two minds – in your home
With two minds – you’re never alone
In two minds – you’re annoyed
With two minds – you’re a schizoid
Wiping the grime from his eyes
He’s sure not himself
he stands on his two new feet
And realises he’s someone else
He’s become hyperactive
And starts to act like a child
Now he’s scared of all around
Like the prey of a hungry animal wild
The doctor has been called
On the electronic phone
And the trap is neatly sprung
To entice him to his home
And as the doctor inspects
The change in his patient’s head
A knife is raised
With which to strike the doctor dead
And so to the courtroom
How do you plead? ‘Madness’
And so he gets away
With his acts of badness
But his lawyer is dead
The jury are too
And he’s in two minds
About what to do
Grey Hairs – 12th June 1984
The grey hairs are striking
And the effect is punishing you
Grecian 2000 tried to restore your dignity
Cos you don’t know what to do
The grey hairs are armed
To defeat the strongest bleach
Which can’t get to the parts
Only grey hairs can reach
The Way Out – 10th June 1984
If there is a way out
Show me where to go
I can’t take anything anymore
Tell me, I want to know
Show me the way out
The way out
Going Down – 8th June 1984
You’re going down, you’re falling at last
This is the end so forget the past
See what the master says you’re seeing him now
Get down and stay down – your friends will show you how
Get down stay down
