A Friend – 14th May 1988

May 14, 1988February 5, 2024 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

I know someone who’s got lots of friends
And, you know, he’s getting pretty old
And he seems extremely happy
Even though he’s going bald
I hope that when I’m that age
I might have a friend by then
You know I’d be even happier
If I had about ten

I Am God – 7th May 1988

May 7, 1988January 3, 2026 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

I believe in me
And that’s all I need
When you believe me too
I will be God for you
Cos you can’t trust yourself
You have to believe in someone else

Human Error – 6th May 1988

May 6, 1988October 22, 2021 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

Lazy man being brave
Took a chance to save
Now in purgatory forever
They called it human error
Killed the human race
Never ever saw his face
Just an ordinary fella
Malfunction due to human error

Poison Tongue – 5th May 1988

May 5, 1988October 22, 2021 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

Twelve inches long
Talk like a song
Poison tongue
Always right, never wrong
Alway claiming you belong
Poison tongue
A yarn six weeks long
Spoiling someone’s fun
Poison tongue

Games – 4th May 1988

May 4, 1988October 22, 2021 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

Yes – it’s dark inside your home
There are some games you do not play alone
You know that someone tapped your phone
A feeling of terror is being grown
Come out, come out, wherever you are
Play with me, whoever you are

Cranky Bastard – 3rd May 1988

May 3, 1988January 9, 2022 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

A hat stand with eyes
Adopted child, no parental ties
Just a fistful of desperate lies
Wrangler jeans with no thighs
A cranky bastard, I surmise

Stayed In – 2nd May 1988

May 2, 1988January 5, 2022 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

Where did you get to last night?
I stayed in! Is that all right?
Well, we went out and had a laugh
I stayed in and had a bath
I stayed in and that’s where I’m staying

You – 29th April 1988

April 29, 1988January 5, 2022 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

Something that you do
You’re just like two and two
Like dumplings and stew
It’s you and only you
You’re one of the lucky few

John Peel – 28th April 1988

April 28, 1988January 5, 2022 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

From thrash to Zimbabwe
How the bloody hell can he
Play so much shit
And get away with it?

Another Slag – 27th April 1988

April 27, 1988January 5, 2022 ~ shaun tenzenmen ~ Leave a comment

Talk to me but no more shit
I’d like to see you but your face don’t fit
I know what you want but you won’t get it
Another slag looking for another hit
She says take me – I’ll throw you away
Someone will have you – just another lay
More than you deserve – that’s what I say
I can see your act – your stupid play
Another slag – another day
No way
