I lived in a house
I got chucked out
Didn’t pay the rent
Now I live in a tent

Corkscrew – 19th September 1986
Corkscrew
Undo
Wine fumes
Consumed
Corkscrew
Job done
Corkscrew
Cork gone
Toothpick – 18th September 1986
Piece of wood
Bark of the wrong tree
Toothpick, toothpick
Picked tooth, coming free
Resist
The dentist
Superglue made it stick
I swallowed it
Made me sick
Takes off the plaque
With that bark
Colgate toothpaste
What a waste
Toothbrush
In a rush
Pack your pick
After Midnight – 16th September 1986
After midnight
I can play
After midnight
Another new day
After midnight
Silence roars
After midnight
Darkness claws
People go to bed
They ought to be dead
If they can’t see the sight
Of life after midnight
Noah’s Ark – 15th September 1986
Animals go in two by two
One for me and one for you
Noah got hungry and decided to eat
Noah – you invented meat
Flora – 14th September 1986
Flora margarine
Sexist and obscene
Flora, flora – she’s for men
Flora – come and get it then
Bulldozer – 13th September 1986
Running away like mice
From the man in control
He can build a hill
He can dig a hole
Drop me in and leave me
No one will believe me
Every question of mine is opposed
My life has been bulldozed
Island – 12th September 1986
Water everywhere I look
I think of the land you took
Now I’m left alone
My island is my home
Isolated from opposition
Survival is my proposition
Loneliness is my admission
All there is in my position
Amplifier – 11th September 1986
She’s so quiet
I need to supply her
With my amplifier
Wrapped in sound
She won’t untie me
She just wants to amplify me
Gear – 10th September 1986
It’s so slow
In the shadow
Do not fear
Move up a gear
