I am the clay in all your hands
My thoughts are moulded by your acts
I cannot think without you
Unable to process the facts
Inspired by this issue of The Stoa Letter

Love the way it flows and rhymes!

Thanks Laura. 🙏 Does it make sense? I feel like it may be a little vague without reading the inspirational source.

It does. The way I read it is that we all influence one another, that being the “clay” in someone else’s hand is we are in ways products of our society and own environment, that sometimes we don’t have our own independent thoughts but are influenced by others. Lots of deeper meaning in there.

Great! Thanks. I sometimes look at my work and wonder how or why (or even if) I wrote that!

🤣 😆 I promise you, you are not alone in that. Just recently I went back to something I wrote and I was like “wow! I don’t remember writing this at all!”
