- The first coffee of the day
- Watching our kittens play
- Whiskey on a winter’s night
- Holding someone special tight
- Memories triggered by song
- Feeling right where you belong
- Watching all the children grow
- Teaching all of what you know
- A great poem that you wrote
- Inspiration from a quote
- Causing a new friend to smile
- Contemplating for a while
- Watching the river flow by
- Migrations across the sky
- A forest walk in the rain
- Waking up again, again

That is indeed a very lovely list! (And I notice you found even more than 10, with no trouble at all.)

Well, once I started…..
I was contemplating half love half hate but I ended up writing about how pointless hate is and it didn’t work, so I just kept going with the loves.
Cheers Rosemary 🙏

What a lovely healing exercise this was. We need to do more of this..to heal ourselves from the wider truths of the present global situation.

Shaun, Of course it had to start with coffee (or tea in my case), all good things do, so all that follows, follows naturally, unselfconsciously, and sometimes surprisingly like, “Causing a new friend to smile” — and then you realize how true, that IS so lovely! Such a satisfying poem, Shaun.

A wonderful rhyming list…the final one is the goal to waking up again and again to a new day of possibilities.

Love and rhyme – the best combination ! I was nodding throughout the poem and the closing line got the most vigorous nod. Well said, Shaun.👏🏼👏🏼
