Countering counterculture
The margins are underground
Narrative struggles remain
Where opposition is found

The conflict of one’s desire
Families beggar belief
Carving out personal faith
Opposition brings relief

    1. When I was immature I was a contrarian. Now that I am, at least, more mature I tend to embrace opposition. To be open minded is a struggle, to look at another’s opinion or viewpoint is a challenge, to question oneself… it’s an obligation. It’s not just our bodies that we have to keep moving but our brains too.

    1. I think it can be quite easy to argue in opposition if it something you believe but it takes someone special to be able to argue the oppostions point against themselves. I try to put myself in other people’s shoes, to try and understand their position better but sometimes I can also be close-minded, especially if I don’t have time to really think deeply about something.
