Sad Butterfly – 24th August 2021

We are not so sentimental
– sort of desolate
Towards what we once had

It’s only people like us
– who are really happy
Who can enjoy being sad

Calling out to the pretty ones
– fluttering around us
Like butterflies of fad

No dignity in frivolity
– falling on the ice
Our balance so very bad
