“On yr bike!” she said
But I was already prepared
Bags packed and stacked
Taking all my lovers with me
Contained on the pages
Where there is every poem I’ve ever written
Submitted to WDYS #253 (attached picture prompt) and the form and idea inspired after reading this poem as The Skeptic’s Kaddish.

Love it, Shaun! ❤
And, yes, this is (IMO) a super fun form – each cherita is like a little mini-story, like yours. Well done 😀

I started by imagining the suitcases full of books (as your poem had me thinking about them) and that one’s life could be contained within the books they’ve read. In the end I turned it around to be the things that one has written.
Glad you enjoyed it David and thanks for the inspiration!
