Shaun, I like how you interweave philosophical concepts and absurdity – a thought-provoking reflection on self-deception and the complexities of existence😊🙌
The prompt took me to ‘does the tree falling in a forest with no one to hear it make a sound?’ so I wove a few different koan-like ideas into the mystery.
. the Uri reference had me checking what he’s up to now; per xtwitter, something astronomical is coming and he’s in touch; possibly he foresaw your very poem here!!?? 🙂
I remember learning about Uri Geller as a teen, doing research for a school project at my local library — his mix of mystery and showmanship really fascinated me back then.
A very intriguing poem, Shaun!
