Here, my life in words
writ upon musty pages:
the human condition catalogued
on a day-to-day basis.

All the devilled details
each stanza engages;
these eternal tales retold,
elevated among the sages.

When to tragedy
I will surely fall,
my words will live on,
free for all.

      When I was younger I only kept vague and intermittent diaries and sometimes would scoff at a friend who most meticulously detailed his thoughts and days. Agh! Hindsight and all that!
