Blast Off – 17th December 1984

A night of passionate sex
Lust lust lust lust
It’s lift-off or bust
I love it, I love it, I love it too
I love what I do to you
An orgasmic smile
Reached once in a while
Makes me so happy to turn you on
Come on, come on, come on

22nd August 2023 – I was speaking with zero experience! But the idea of pleasing a partner was clearly already in my mind. It’s extremely doubtful that I managed to do it every time but I did (do?) pride myself on pleasing my partner before myself.

I’m Tired – 16th December 1984

I’m tired of the apathy that divides our race
I’m tired of our country, I’m tired of this place
I’m tired of the media denying truth for lies
I’m tired of seeing through your eyes
I’m tired and it makes me so ill
I’m tired of everything

I’m tired of people who laugh at others
I’m tired of cheating our sisters and brothers
I’m tired of sexist remarks behind women’s backs
I’m tired of people making racist cracks
I’m tired of wars and widows they leave behind
I’m tired of the sex sex sex that people have in mind
I’m tired of leaders telling us what to do
I’m tired of everything and I’m tired of you

Wouldn’t You Give Her Gold? – 15th December 1984

There she goes all dressed in white
Smiling at you, out of sight
She’s just hoping that you might
Sell the world

She hopes that you all agree
That you like what you see
Still she makes her desperate plea
To sell the world

She has ribbons in her hair
She likes it when you care
She just wants to be there
When you sell the world

The world was never enough
She’s always had it tough
But when the world is sold
But when the world is sold
Wouldn’t you give her gold?

Simeon – 14th December 1984

You’re not with us, you’re somewhere else
You’re living the life of someone else
Simeon – where are you?
Mayday, mayday – come in, please
What’s that Simeon? What did you say?
‘I didn’t say anything, so go away’
Simeon – where are you?
Mayday, mayday – come in, please
Simeon speaks his mind to Mr King
‘No, I’m sorry Sir, it doesn’t mean a thing’
Simeon – where are you?
Mayday, mayday – over and out
