There will be a sweet illustrated booklet for you to take away detailing how to deal with an epileptic seizure. spoiler alert:
- move away sharp/dangerous objects,
- check the time
- try to put something soft under their head,
- don’t try to restrain them, don’t put anything in their mouth,
- call an ambulance if it lasts more than 5 mins or there are two seizures in a row)
the booklet was designed by the very special Ellise Bourne (see 1111part1.blogspot.com.au/p/ellise-bourne.html
and beautifully photocopied and stapled by Sydney’s own Nick Levy.

The Finer Things Presents: Cassius Select & Scissor Lock 12″ Launch
Continuing an indelible creative partnership that has brought us the sweat-soaked r’n’b of Black Vanilla, Collarbones’ ‘Hypothermia’ and countless shows shared across Australia, two of Sydney’s most prolific producers go back-to-back on 12” wax for the first Finer Things release of 2014 – splitting Scissor Lock’s 9 minute epic ‘Awatef’ with the vocal-infused dub-noir of Cassius Select’s ‘Bull’ and ‘Each Step’. To celebrate the release we will be having a launch show at 107 projects. Joining them on the night will be Sydney local Power Moves.
