12th Sept 2023 – I must’ve heard the phrase Lizard King somewhere but never connected it with Jim Morrison. It would be later that I heard and came to hate the Doors. At the same time, I must have been reading back issues of 2000AD and the story Flesh that featured the Tyrant Lizard and inspired this piece.
