Life is being too good,
it’s busy and in knots,
impetus all around
but missing all the shots;

Denied time to create,
art is buried under
a blanket so banal
and lacking in thunder;

Inspiration slides by
never hitting the pen;
will it ever return
for me to write again?

Clear out all the clutter,
delete and unsubscribe,
waiting for the ideas
to, once again, arrive.
