I am so happy and grateful for the afternoon nap I had today. Felt so tired today – too much lying down for the last three weeks. Listening to Mike Tyson and Joe Rogan talking was kinda soothing. Mike Tyson is especially a mumbler. Damn, it’s so hot tonight – back to aircon. And back to sleep.
I am so happy and grateful for the long month off work. I have been enjoyably lazy and caught up on some TV watching. It has made me realise that I enjoy having a routine of going to work and that I build other habits around it. It has also made me curious about us being able to start our own business here – I think it would be enjoyable to do a restaurant/diner on our land.
I am so happy and grateful to be going back to school next week. I was actually dreading finding out when we had to go back because I’ve been enjoying myself at home but when the message came through I actually felt good knowing that I would have to go out and be out of home for a while.

I am so happy and grateful to see a big bumble bee buzzing from flower to flower in our garden this morning. What is the life of a bumblebee? Maybe sweet?
I am so happy and grateful for our leaking pipe under the sink. Just as everyone is back to full health, our bedroom aircon was fixed – everything being as it should – then the pipe started leaking just to remind us that there will always be problems. They can be overcome but only so you can face more problems.
I am so happy and grateful for our air fryer and Amy’s new batch of cinnamon scrolls which she is heating up now. I realise how useless I am at cooking, having not really done any for the last ten years or so. One day I will have to find out how to use the kitchen again.
I am so happy and grateful that we can listen to Australian radio online. It’s nice to hear familiar English language voices even though it’s mostly vacuous nonsense. I know it makes Amy feel more comforted to listen. I’m thinking that we will end up back in Australia in the next ten years.
I am so happy and grateful to our passionfruit plants, all of which have managed to grow well and spread everywhere. I’m hoping that they fruit well sometime this year too.
