I am so happy and grateful for my umbrella, it kept my hair dry but not my clothes. Oh well, I would be completely drenched without it.

Play time doesn’t last forever – 23rd September 2020
Hard on the kids? Maybe. Put them into line a little – talk to them more. Even small classes, it’s hard to get through to everyone – if they don’t understand. Find a leader – push them forward. Help them work together.
Gratitude Journal
I am so happy and grateful to have my own room to be in, to explore my thoughts and feelings, to play and practice hobbies, to meditate and exercise.
To-do list
- Five compliments
- Savour something
It’s Oct 4th now. Not sure if I managed to do 5 compliments in one day but I have been conscious to try and compliment more and generally have been able to.
I have been savouring at times though not been consciously finding time to do it.
Teaching has finished though we have one week of sports (we’re not required to do much) and then one week of lesson plans before two weeks holiday.
The irregularity of classes is a little strange to get used to. If I’m at school I prefer to be working and teaching. The environment is still positive and happy though.
I’ve been watching saved YouTube videos to try and clear that backlog. Tomorrow I will take a book and go and sit in a coffee shop and read for a while.
Now that we have free time it’s boring to go to De Lanna when there are other coffee shops to try. The coffee is better in other shops even though the environment may not be so nice.
Imagination turns thoughts – 22nd September 2020
Tried dictating to the computer to record these but it’s difficult to talk and think sometimes – tells you something!
Nice dreams, didn’t want them to stop – Amy and I were at a public bath with Chris and Hillary – I don’t remember why or how.
I wasn’t tired last night – slept late. Feel okay now after exercise.
First Thai lesson today. Nervous but know it will be okay.
Look forward to coffee as always. Thoughts flip down the river but don’t come now as I’m writing. My stuck mind.

To-do list
- Five compliments.
I’m always complimenting students and Amy so I don’t count those. I managed four compliments today. I will try for five again tomorrow.

We got that attitude! – 20th September 2020
I am so happy and grateful that I can sleep in if I want to. I felt too tired this morning to get up with my alarm and that’s ok. It doesn’t really matter.

I am so happy and grateful that I have some spare money from teaching that I could buy a guitar and happy that I have some free time to be able to try and learn to play. No pressure, just fun.
We got that attitude! – 18th September 2020
I am so happy and grateful for some self-control and planning ahead. I’ve been tired this week and of the morning routine. I will get back to it again on Monday.
We got that attitude! – 17th September 2020
I am so happy and grateful that I don’t have to worry about money too much at the moment. If I want or need something then I can buy it. I don’t need much these days and the things I want are diminishing a little too.
We got that attitude! – 16th September 2020

We got that attitude! – 15th September 2020
I am so happy and grateful that I can find little solutions to little problems without getting too frustrated. This morning I’m grateful for having my phone available to hotspot the internet for my laptop.
