There’s nothing worth knowing
It’s there to serve a purpose
To prevent your knowledge growing

Is more newsworthy than war
When the injured are at home
And understand what the fighting is for
The rug is getting bigger
Where all the garbage is brushed
Tricked to believe in freedom
Whilst watching it being crushed

I am so happy and grateful for our crazy passionfruit plants that are providing me with so much fruit to enjoy. Then there’s the crazy pumpkin that also may actually give us food that doesn’t get eaten by insects this year.

Right now in the UK, the war in the Middle East takes priority over everything else; next is Ukraine.
I understand what you’re saying, though. I was gobsmacked when I read that Taylor Swift was supporting Kamala Harris instead of Donald Trump, and therefore, a large section of voters would follow suit! Just when did pop stars become so important?
I must admit I’d be unable to recognise or name one of her songs, and I don’t think I even know what she looks like!

The US election is an irrelevance to everyone. It makes no difference to the ghosts of the Middle East, Ukraine or our grandfathers.
