When every day
makes you unhappy,
why ask
yourself
for a solution
to get better?
When every day
makes you feel so good,
ask why
it’s so
and keep doing that –
things will get worse.

About the title: I’m not sure if it is an Australian colloquialism or not, but a common phrase for an abundance of something was ‘having so much it’s coming out the wazoo’ and seemed to morph towards ‘coming out of the yin yang’ or any other variety of experimental and playful terms.
Today’s Daily Stoic poem:

A great piece of anti-advice Shaun – both misery and joy are traps if they lead to over-analysis or rigid repetition

The juxtaposition of your idea works so well that it makes the reader pause and ponder, Shaun. Good one!

I really enjoyed this. I can be prone to overthinking, but good days or bad, are so much easier if I just try and go with the flow… try and live in the moment, acceptance of yin and yang… 💞

Thanks Suzanne 🙏
The challenge of living in a culturally different country has certainly helped me to learn to go with the flow better than before. Otherwise, everything would be a fight.

That overthinking either way really makes life more difficult, doesn’t it? Let the yin and yang energy bring you the right amounts of joy! 🌷

Ah, devil’s advocate, if I hadn’t read it through I might think you’re a miserable bastard, great piece Shaun – this speak loud.

I am English so, innately a miserable bastard. I’ve spent most of my life trying to figure out how not to be. Almost there! Haha!
